Opportunity to Reach Out:
The Shelter puts out canned food items 2-3 times a week for the community. Food needs: Canned Fruit, Vegetables, pasta, soup. There are students that live there and food needed for them also includes: bread, pasta, meat. Robert Morris said if you bring food just put on the front porch and call him to let him know the food is there. (540-267-5356) The Shelter is located across the street from First Baptist. The address is 1205 Downey Street.
--Women's Resource Center has some current needs- food for the emergency shelter which would be perishable and nonperishable and of course toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning products. One can also earmark do donation for "emergency shelter supplies" and let them do the shopping or one can just make a donation without specification. If bringing donation bring them to the office and leave them outside close to the door and let staff inside know they are there, office number 639-9592 or a check can be sent to P.O. Box 477 Radford, Va 24143.
--Thanks for continuing to send in your tithes and offerings!! I truly appreciate your gifts and recognition that ministry continues at Unity! Not only is giving necessary for the functions of the church but giving is also a spiritual discipline that helps us to grow in our faith and trust in God.
**If you need envelopes and stamps to mail in your tithes, offerings, special gifts please email or call church office.
