Children & Youth

Nursery

We provide a safe, inviting, loving atmosphere for our youngest participants.

We have an infant nursery and a toddler nursery. Our nursery staff have extensive experience with serving children both within the church setting as well as in their full time jobs in the community. They have a true heart and passion for ministry to and with our littles.

Children Worship & Wonder

Children Worship and Wonder is for children aged 3-2nd grades. It takes place during the 11:00 am worship hour so that children can have a worship experience designed just for them.

The stories of the bible come alive as they are told with wooden figures and other manipulatives. The children are encouraged to wonder about the stories, God, and Jesus and respond in a variety of ways.

The structure of the worship time is based on the Montessori method of teaching.

Mustard Seeds

Mustard Seeds is for children in 3rd-5th Grade.

The children meet sometimes during worship and sometimes after worship to explore faith, grow in community, have fun, and participate in mission projects.

Youth Group

Youth Group is for kids in Middle School and High School.

Although our youth do not meet on a regular basis they do participate in various activities using their gifts and talents such as singing, acting, and dancing in worship, helping lead children’s activities, and help with Community Table and other outreach ministries.

We are currently revamping this ministry.

Vacation Bible School

This year we held VBS as an All Day Saturday event. Our theme was, "Food Truck Party." We kicked the event off on Friday night with and actual Food Truck Party for the whole community.

VBS is for babies up through 5th grade. Along with sharing stories from the bible, we have singing, crafts, games, snacks, and a meal. We always have a great time. It varies from year to year whether we do a one day event or several nights during one week of the summer.

Trunk or Treat

The Sunday before Halloween we typically have church members decorate the trunk of their cars and then give candy to the children of our church and community. Some people go all out. Not only do we have candy for the children, but we serve a hot dog dinner and have games for the children and a costume contest. It is always a fun time.
