Our Reach Up ministries center on Sunday morning, gathering together to worship, sing, pray, and encounter the living God. These are the heartbeat of our congregation.
Prayerfully and intentionally designed to be engaging, creative, and uplifting.
Each week our worship team designs services that cultivate praise and spiritual growth: a blend of music, a relevant sermon series, and the sharing of communion. Worship is typically led by church members, pastoral and music staff, and elders.
While adults and teens worship in the sanctuary, children age 3–2nd grade have their own special service called Children Worship and Wonder.
Special & Seasonal Services
An integral part of our worship blending hymns, praise, spirituals, and bluegrass.
Our music ministry is led by three part-time staff: a Choir Director, Organist, and Praise Team Leader who work together to bring special music to every service. Children occasionally lead in singing as well.
Up to 3 hrs/week · Sundays + Wednesday evenings as needed · $25/hr. Strong music background required. Submit resume to Personnel Team Chair.

Ongoing studies for adults covering Scripture, spiritual disciplines, and theological formation throughout the year.
Dedicated small groups for men and women to grow in faith alongside peers walking the same road.
Age-appropriate faith formation for children and youth, including Vacation Bible School and intergenerational activities.
An annual summer program for children, combining Scripture, creativity, and community in an unforgettable week of faith.

Seasonal challenges designed to encourage individuals to go deeper in personal study and spiritual growth on their own terms.
"We serve God by serving others." Our Reach Out ministries extend the love of Christ into the New River Valley, welcoming the stranger and feeding the neighbor.
Our Outreach Team oversees all Reaching Out opportunities for service and mission.

Someone from our Evangelism Team arranges to take new members to lunch after worship to begin integrating them into the life of the church.
