There is a place for everyone at Unity — from our youngest children to our most seasoned members.
We want our youngest children to feel safe, loved, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Unity offers both an infant nursery and a toddler nursery during worship. Our nursery staff bring years of experience caring for children, both here at church and in their work throughout the community. More than that, they have a genuine heart for children and a deep love for helping our littlest ones feel welcome at Unity.
Children Worship & Wonder is designed for children age 3 through 2nd grade and takes place during our 11:00 worship service.
This gives children a worship experience created just for them. Bible stories are shared using wooden figures and other hands-on materials, helping the stories come alive in a way children can see, touch, and understand.
Children are invited to wonder about the story, about God, and about Jesus. They are also given space to respond in their own way through quiet reflection, creativity, and play.
The structure of Children Worship & Wonder is rooted in the Montessori method, which encourages children to learn through curiosity, imagination, and meaningful participation.
Youth Group is for middle school and high school students.
Our youth ministry is currently being reworked, but our youth are still an important part of life at Unity. They share their gifts in worship through music, acting, dancing, and other creative ways. They also help lead children's activities, serve with Community Table, and take part in other outreach ministries.
We are excited about what this ministry can become and are continuing to build a space where our youth feel known, valued, and connected.
Vacation Bible School is one of the ways we create a fun, welcoming space for children to learn about God.
VBS is open to babies through 5th grade. Each year looks a little different. Sometimes we gather for a one-day event, and other years we meet for several evenings during the summer.
No matter the format, VBS is full of Bible stories, music, crafts, games, snacks, and plenty of laughter. It is always a good time, and we love seeing children from both our church and the wider community take part.
Each year, usually on the Sunday before Halloween, Unity hosts Trunk or Treat for the children of our church and community.
Church members decorate the trunks of their cars, hand out candy, and some of them really go all out. Along with trick-or-treating, we usually have a hot dog dinner, games for children, and a costume contest.
It is a fun, easy way for families to spend time together and for our church to welcome the community.
Christian Women's Fellowship, or CWF, gives women a place to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve the church and community.
At Unity, we have two Circle groups that meet monthly. These gatherings include devotional study, time for business and planning, and time to simply be together.
CWF is deeply committed to mission work, with much of that work focused right here in our local community. These women serve with care, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility to the mission of the church.
Their heart is simple: serving God by serving others.
God and My Girlfriends is a women's group made up of women of all ages, from teens to women in their 90s.
The group meets weekly throughout the year, with a break during the summer and in December. Gatherings usually include a potluck meal followed by time spent studying Scripture, a book, spiritual practices, or honest conversations about faith and everyday life.
It's a warm, welcoming space for women to share life, build friendships, and grow in faith together.
All women are welcome.
